Associate of Science in Computer Information Technology
The Associate in Science (A.S.) in Computer Information Technology degree prepares students for careers as developers, programmers, programmer-analysts, database developers, or web developers. Students study program and systems design, computer communications, database development, web development, customer support, and software development in specific languages.
The A.S. degree consists both general education courses and higher-level, advanced computer systems networking topics. A 50-hour internship is included in the program to provide valuable work experience through active hands-on learning of course concepts.
